Overview
Mega Paradise is a residential project in Karad designed by DESIGNEX, led by Ar. Ashish Anand Kulkarni and Ar. Neha Ashish Kulkarni. The home features a sculpted cuboid form where material is carved away to create an interplay of solids and voids. The outer shell serves as a privacy envelope despite nearby surroundings, while the design prioritizes natural light, ventilation, and seclusion for a growing family. Stacked and segmented levels address the plot's constraints, and the facade captures panoramic views while keeping interiors private.

Entrance
The entryway is designed to make a strong first impression, incorporating smart storage solutions and eye-catching accents that transform a utilitarian passageway into a welcoming space. Every detail is considered — from material choices to lighting — ensuring the entrance sets the tone for the rest of the home.

Living Room
A double-height volume greets visitors immediately upon entry, creating a dramatic sense of vertical space. Large openings frame views of a small green patch while maintaining privacy from the street. A lift and strategically positioned staircase facilitate movement between floors, and the entrance itself functions as a transitional pause between indoors and outdoors.

Dining Area
The dining space is designed as a warm, social hub featuring a proportionally-sized dining table with a chandelier that integrates a fan and dimmable lighting. Neutral tones are accented by artwork, while light walls with large openings invite natural light. Ample circulation space connects the dining area to adjacent rooms seamlessly.

Kitchen
The kitchen follows the classic work triangle — sink, stove, and fridge — for maximum efficiency. It incorporates overhead cabinets, pull-out drawers, and vertical shelving for storage. Quartz countertops and durable cabinetry are paired with ambient and accent lighting, while a cohesive color palette ties the space together.

Devghar (Prayer Room)
A dedicated wooden prayer niche is positioned between the living room and kitchen. Crafted from premium wood with a veneer finish, it features jaali (lattice) work and glass, a platform for idols, storage drawers for puja items, and integrated ambient lighting — all aligned with Vastu principles.

Master Bedroom
Positioned at the rear of the house for maximum privacy and comfort, the master bedroom features large openings for natural ventilation without distracting views. The room is segmented to optimize light and airflow, with a refined material palette of plastered walls with gypsum finishing, wooden flooring, and a cozy seating area.

Multipurpose Space & Outdoor Seating
A flexible multipurpose space flows seamlessly into an outdoor seating area. The scooped facade frames panoramic views while maintaining privacy, blending openness with intimacy. This space serves as a retreat for relaxation, reading, or casual gatherings.
